Bruce has over 36 years of experience working in the scrap and recycling industry. He started working in the recycling industry in 1977 and in 1997 he purchased Holland Scrap & Recycling and spent several years developing that business. In 2002, he decided to expand his business by opening Hill Country Recycling Corp. in Marble Falls, Texas. Shortly after opening Hill Country Recycling Corp., Bruce moved to Burnet County in order to be more involved with the community and be able to effectively grow and expand his business.
Dustin has over 13 years’ experience working in the scrap and recycling industry. He started working for Holland Scrap & Recycling in 2000. After working and training under the supervision of Bruce Smith he moved to Burnet County to assist Bruce in starting and managing Hill Country Recycling Corp.
Matthew has over 16 years’ experience working in the scrap and recycling industry. He started working for Holland Scrap & Recycling in 1997. While working for Holland Scrap & Recycling he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 2006, Matthew moved to Burnet County to help manage Hill Country Recycling Corp.
Mike worked for Cold Springs Granite as their safety and environmental manager until he started with Hill Country Recycling Corp. in 2008. Mike handles all of the safety and environmental needs that Hill Country Recycling Corp has. He is also in charge of directing the flow of material in and out of the ferrous yard.

Brandon started working part time in 2002 at Holland Scrap & Recycling during the summers while attending college. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Brandon started working for Hill Country Recycling Corp. in 2007 managing the daily customers that sell recyclable materials to Hill Country Recycling Corp.
